And, of course, you can use the Hangouts app to make phone calls to any number you want. This gives you an easy way to navigate through your active conversations, start new video chats, or make phone calls to your friends. When you click on a person's name, their picture will stick above the aforementioned green icon. Click it with your mouse and you'll pull up a simple list of all of your Google friends who are currently onlineone view just gives you names, while the other also appends the last line in the last conversation you had with that person.
